Alabama landed its second blue-chip recruit in the 2022 cycle on Monday afternoon as five-star recruit Brandon Miller, a 6-foot-8 small forward prospect out of Antioch, Tennessee, announced his commitment live on CBS Sports HQ to the Crimson Tide over Auburn, Kentucky, Tennessee State and pro options.
Miller, the No. 11 recruit in the 2022 class and the No. 3 prospect at his position, gives Alabama its second five-star commitment in the cycle and boosts the Tide from outside the top 50 to inside the top 20 of the national rankings. He’s the third five-star to commit to the program under Nate Oats.
Alabama’s 2022 class features two top-20 talents with Miller joining fellow five-star Jaden Bradley in the cycle after Bradley, a point guard, chose the school at the end of September. The class is shaping up to be one of the program’s best with Miller and Bradley in the fold and several other 2022 talents — including five-star Jarace Walker, a teammate of Bradley’s at IMG Academy — still considering Alabama.
