After breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record in February, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James said his wife Savannah James “is the real MVP.”
He continued his praise Monday on Instagram.
Savannah James attended the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills, California, on Sunday in a white Sergio Hudson mermaid gown. The mother of three complimented her gown with metallic nails and soft wave curls in her blond tresses.
“Last night we dressed the lovely @mrs_savannahrj,” Hudson wrote on Instagram. “I’ve never encountered a more humble, real, elegant soul. Your beauty radiates from inside out … All I can say is I’m truly inspired. ‘New muse alert,’ Mrs. James is the one.”
James couldn’t agree more. He proudly shared the photos of his wife online with a plethora of emojis, including the heart eye and fire emoji.
James was not in attendance at the afterparty as he continues to recover from a right foot tendon injury he suffered during a Feb. 26 game against the Dallas Mavericks. He will be reevaluated next week as the Lakers continue their push for the postseason.
His former Lakes teammate Russell Westbrook and former Miami Heat teammate Dwyane Wade also attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Westbrook opted for a black Thom Browne tuxedo with cut off shorts in contrast his wife Nina’s black and white suit. Wade wore an all-black tuxedo.
