The first round of the 2023 NBA playoffs is officially in the books. Things closed out Sunday with Stephen Curry and the Warriors knocking the Sacramento Kings out of the postseason in a Game 7 win on the road. Curry scored 50 for the Warriors, who advance to face the Lakers in a series starting on Tuesday.
Sunday’s action started at Madison Square Garden, where the Heat continued their streak of upset wins, this time taking down the Knicks in Game 1 of their second-round series. The playoffs’ second round actually started on Saturday night in the West, with the Nuggets handling the Suns in Game 1 in Denver.
