How former Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka will change the Houston Rockets

The Boston Celtics landed on their feet after being sideswiped by the scandal that ultimately saw them suspend and then part ways with the head coach that got them to the 2022 NBA Finals, replacing the disgraced Ime Udoka with then-assistant coach Joe Mazzulla as first an interim head coach and then the full gig on Udoka’s ouster.

Now, the Houston Rockets have hired the former Celtics coach despite his reported improper relationship with a female staffer, rolling the dice that his on-court upside will outweigh whatever baggage the former Boston coach carries in the wake of the scandal that upended his Celtics tenure.

What sort of head coach are the Rockets getting? What details we have yet to hear might end up coming to light after the hire? How will Udoka be treated as he re-emerges into the public eye?
