The conference finals are set in the 2023 NBA playoffs. It’s Lakers vs. Nuggets in the West and Heat vs. Celtics in the East, and the full schedules for both series are set. The Celtics became the fourth and final team to reach this round, knocking out the 76ers with a Game 7 blowout win on Sunday. Boston is facing Miami for the second year in a row and the third time in four years in the Eastern Conference Finals, while Lakers-Nuggets is a rematch of the 2020 Western Conference Finals.
Behind star Nikola Jokic, top-seeded Nuggets took out Kevin Durant and the Suns in the second round. The seventh-seeded Lakers, meanwhile ousted the defending-champion Warriors in six games with Anthony Davis and LeBron James leading the way. Denver vs. L.A. gets started Tuesday night.
The Heat entered the playoffs as the No. 8 seed in the East, but have gone 8-3 with series wins over the No. 1 Bucks and No. 5 Knicks. Jimmy Butler and Miami will be trying to avenge last year’s ECF loss to Jayson Tatum and the Celtics in seven games. Heat-Celtics gets going on Wednesday in Boston.
