What to Know

TX A&M-CC and the Colonels are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. Both teams will face off in a Southland battle at 7:30 p.m. ET on Monday at David R. Stopher Gymnasium. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they’ll have plenty of motivation to get the ‘W’.

TX A&M-CC unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 74-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cowboys.

Meanwhile, Nicholls State managed to keep up with the Cardinals until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Colonels suffered a bruising 75-56 loss at the hands of the Cardinals. Nicholls State’s loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

The Islanders’ defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-9. As for the Colonels, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

TX A&M-CC beat the Colonels 69-59 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for TX A&M-CC since the squad won’t have the home-court advantage this time around. We’ll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
