Team France standout Guerschon Yabusele is joining the Philadelphia 76ers, per multiple media reports.
The 28-year-old French forward has agreed to a one-year deal with the 76ers with a $2.1 million minimum, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Yabusele averaged 14 points per game throughout Team France’s stellar Olympic silver medal-winning run. He scored 20 points in the Olympic gold medal final against the United States, second only to teammate Victor Wembanyama. Team USA took the win over France, 98-87.
Two of Yabusele’s 20 points came with a massive dunk over LeBron James, making him one of few player to posterize the NBA great.
After starting his career on teams in France and China, Yabusele was selected 16th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2016 NBA Draft. Yabusele spent two seasons with the Celtics franchise before going back overseas in 2019.
The 6-foot-8 forward has played for Real Madrid since 2021; per The Athletic’s Sham Charania, Yabusele had to resolve his $2.5 million contract with the Spanish team before he could return to the NBA.
