FGCU men’s basketball 2024-25 non-conference schedule includes games vs. LSU, TCU, FAU, FIU

The FGCU men’s basketball team released its 12-game non-conference schedule Tuesday for 2024-25 highlighted by road games against TCU and LSU and facing in-state opponents FIU and FAU.

The Eagles open their season on the road at UNC Greensboro on Monday, Nov. 4 before traveling to Fort Worth to face TCU on Nov. 8. FGCU’s home opener is Nov. 13 against St. Bonaventure before hitting the road again to face Drake on Nov. 16.

FGCU will host a mixed team event on Nov. 22 and 23, playing CSU Bakersfield on Friday at 11 a.m. and Northeastern on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Eagles will then play host to FIU on Sunday at 3 p.m. FGCU won last year’s contest against the Panthers 68-65.

FAU will host FGCU in Boca Raton on Nov. 30 in a rematch of the Eagles’ biggest win from a season ago. FGCU downed the then No. 7 Owls 72-68 at Alico Arena.

Furman comes to town on Dec. 4 before the Eagles head to Baton Rouge to face LSU on Dec. 8. FGCU wraps up its non-conference slate with road contests at UNC Wilmington (Dec. 18) and Richmond (Dec. 28). The Eagles open ASUN play with the conference’s newest member, West Georgia, on the road Jan. 2.
