What is Purdue basketball’s path to a Big Ten three-peat? Conference schedule released

WEST LAFAYETTE − The conference has four new teams, but the goal for Purdue basketball remains the same, complete a Big Ten three-peat.

The path to doing that was revealed Thursday on the Big Ten Network.

In addition to a road exhibition game for the second year in a row, the Boilermakers have six non-conference home games and one true non-conference road game.

The Boilermakers, coming off a 34-5 season and a NCAA championship game appearance, will spend Thanksgiving in San Diego as part of a four-team tournament and also play a pair of neutral site games against Texas A&M and Auburn. The Rady Invitational in San Diego in late November and the two neutral site games sandwich two Big Ten contests in early December.

Purdue’s Big Ten schedule includes home and road contests against Rutgers, Michigan and Indiana and single-game matchups with the other 14 league teams, making for 20 of Purdue’s 31 regular season contests.
