The pick is in for Alabama basketball prospect London Jemison.
Coach Nate Oats and the 2025 recruiting class won Alabama’s second four-star commit when Jemison announced he has selected Alabama over Kansas and Louisville on Saturday.
A power forward known for a towering 6-foot-8 frame and mobility to go with it, Jemison joins small forward Amari Allen, who committed to Alabama on Sept. 10.
Louisville and Virginia hosted Jemison for official visits in the weeks following his most recent visit to Tuscaloosa on the weekend of Sept. 6.

The Crimson Tide officially offered Jemison back in May, joining the likes of Penn State, Syracuse, Villanova and Notre Dame in the pursuit of the 48th-ranked recruit in the ESPN Top 100.

While it’s still early, On3’s industry rankings suggest Alabama’s pair of star-studded recruits put its 2025 recruiting class ranking at No. 4 in the country.
Jemison said in a live announcement with 247Sports that Alabama was “the perfect fit” for his style of play, especially as the youngster looks to develop into the elite multidimensional wing that he’s shown glimpses of becoming so far.
When trying out a new role as a wing shooter in the spring, he nailed 37% of shots from beyond the arc to average a whopping six per game in EYBL tournament play.
Murphy brings four-star London Jemison to Crimson Tide
Alabama assistant coach Preston Murphy was a critical factor in Jemison’s recruitment.
Murphy was a coach on the AAU circuit last year, giving him the opportunity to build a relationship with Jemison.
