Hubert Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels took a big step forward in the recruitment of a five-star shooting guard in the 2025 class.
Just a few weeks after Braylon Mullins visited UNC, the recruit has now cut his list of offers down to a final three. And the Tar Heels are one of those finalists.
Mullins is officially down to UNC, Indiana, and UConn he announced on Tuesday afternoon. The Indiana native has taken official visits to each of his finalists with Indiana getting the last visit.
As of now, it’s a little tough to judge where UNC stands as they are going up against the back-to-back national champions in UConn as well as the in-state Hoosiers. But landing Mullins would be a big get for Hubert Davis and his staff as they are seeking their first commitment in the 2025 recruiting class.
Mullins will make his decision near the end of October or the beginning of November, ending his recruitment and picking between the three teams above.
The 6-foot-5, 180-pound Mullins is ranked No. 16 nationally, the No. 4 shooting guard and No. 2 player in the state of Indiana per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
