Fantasy Basketball Trade Tips: Fred VanVleet and Brandon Miller are buy-low candidates

Injuries have been a common theme in the early portion of the NBA season. They have left many fantasy basketball managers scrambling to re-enforce their rosters. One way to do that is via a trade. Let’s discuss some fantasy buy-low options, sell-high targets or players to hold based on their starts.

Fred VanVleet was excellent for the Rockets and fantasy managers last season, averaging 17.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 8.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 3.1 3-pointers per game. Efficiency wasn’t a problem for him during his rookie season, considering he shot 44.0% from the field and 37.3% from behind the arc. A healthy LaMelo Ball does have the potential to put a bit of a damper on Miller’s usage rate, but Miller is one of the team’s main building blocks, so he should receive plenty of opportunities to contribute.

The Warriors have dealt with plenty of injuries this season that have included Stephen Curry, Andrew…
