Marquette is keeping this one on campus.

Friday night’s game against George Mason is a students-only game at the Al McGuire Center. It’s the first game Marquette has played at “The Al,” which seats 3,700, since 2022.

Season-ticket holders will have to watch the game at home like the rest of us, although that’ll be a bit tricky. This is the first of 18 Big East games this season that are exclusively on Peacock, NBC’s streaming service.

Peacock requires a monthly subscription, with plans start at $7.99 a month. There’s also a student plan for $1.99 a month. Marquette has two Big East conference games only on Peacock later this season.

Former Golden Eagles star Tyler Kolek played his freshman season at George Mason before transferring to Marquette. Kolek is now with the New York Knicks and playing the Milwaukee Bucks Friday night at Madison Square Garden. Perhaps he’ll be able to catch the second half of the game between his two college teams.
