COLLEGE BASKETBALL: UTPB ends weekend with loss to Adams State

Nov. 10—ALAMOSA, Colo. — The UTPB men’s basketball team was dealt a 95-88 loss to Adams State Sunday at the South Central Region Challenge.

The Falcons (1-1) only trailed 34-31 at the half and both teams continued to keep things close in the second half.

UTPB was led in scoring by Dario Domingos’ 17 points while Alex Matthews had 15 and Bryceson Burns had 14.

Adams State (2-0) was led by Jude Tapia who had 28 points while Ta’Veus Randle had 17 and Jaylen Alexander had 13.

UTPB will next face UTEP in an exhibition game at 8 p.m. Tuesday in El Paso.
