Smith puts up 22 as Delaware State takes down Cheyney (PA) 93-51

DOVER, Del. (AP) — Robert Smith had 22 points in Delaware State’s 93-51 victory against Cheyney (PA) on Saturday night.

Smith went 9 of 20 from the field (3 for 10 from 3-point range) for the Hornets (2-2). Muneer Newton scored 17 points and added six rebounds and three steals. Martez Robinson had 14 points and shot 6 of 11 from the field, including 1 for 4 from 3-point range, and went 1 for 3 from the line.

Joshua Blackmon led the Wolves in scoring, finishing with 12 points. Isaiah Alston added 11 points for Cheyney (PA).
