One of Sunday’s top college basketball matchups featured former Louisville coach Rick Pitino coaching against his son.
Pitino and St. John’s took on Richard Pitino and New Mexico during Sunday’s basketball slate. The elder Pitino got the better of his son in an 85-61 win for No. 22 S. John’s. The Red Storm improved to 4-0, while the Lobos fell to 3-1.

However, despite the win, something may have bothered Rick Pitino. With less than a minute remaining in the contest and St. John’s holding a 15-point lead, the Red Storm fatefully reminded Richard Pitino who runs the family, with a “Who’s your daddy?” chant.

Predictably, Rick Pitino did not seem enthused by the chant, as he motioned for the fans to quiet down and even shook his head in disappointment.
