It’s still early but if head coach Buzz Williams continues to have his team score in the high 80s per game, they will be a tough team for anyone down the stretch. Texas A&M (3-1) is on a three-game winning streak and looking better each time out.

Even with going 2-0 and beating both teams by double digits A&M remains in the No. 23 spot. It is fair because they played Lamar then their win over Ohio State was impressive, but it knocked the Buckeyes out of this week’s rankings. They also did not shoot the ball particularly well and had more made free throws than made shots.

Kansas remained in the top spot, with Alabama falling to No. 8 and Arizona had the biggest drop down 9 to No. 17. The Aggies’ win over Ohio State knocked the Buckeyes out of the top 25 and A&M still ranked No. 23 for the second consecutive week.
