Iowa State men’s basketball: 3 things to watch in Cyclones vs IU-Indianapolis

For the third Monday in a row, No. 7 Iowa State basketball (2-0) is back in action at Hilton Coliseum for its lone game of the week. It will be the final home game before the Cyclones head to the Maui Invitational.

Iowa State will host IU-Indianapolis (2-2), which is 0-2 against Division I competition, suffering a 74-71 loss against Eastern Michigan in its most recent outing. Its lone wins came against NAIA schools IU-Columbus and Goshen.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT and the game will be available on ESPN+.

IU-Indianapolis allowed Xavier and Eastern Michigan to shoot a combined 47.6% from beyond the arc, which slots them at 359th in 3-point defense through this early stretch of the season.

It could be another high-scoring night from long range for Curtis Jones and Milan Momcilovic.
