MANHATTAN — Kansas State basketball plays its first game away from Bramlage Coliseum and its first of three in four days starting at 7 p.m. (CT) Friday against George Washington in the first round of the Paradise Jam.

The Wildcats (3-1) are coming off a 75-56 victory over Mississippi Valley State on Tuesday night, led by center Ugonna Onyenso with 16 points. Their lone loss came against LSU, 76-65.

George Washington (4-0) has also played all home games, beating Mercyhurst (76-59), Hampton (82-54), North Carolina A&T (85-80), and most recently, New Jersey Institute of Technology (84-64) on Monday night.

Forward David N’Guessan leads K-State in scoring with 14.8 points per game and rebounding with 7.0, while guard Brendan Hausen adds 13.8 points on 40% 3-point shooting. For GWU, forward Darren Buchanan leads four double-figure scorers with a 17.3-point average, followed by 6-foot-11 forward Rafael Castro with 13.5 points. Both average 9.0 rebounds.

The first-round winner will face either Louisiana or Liberty in the semifinals at 7 p.m. Sunday, while the losers square off at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The final round will take place Monday.
