Nebraska fans react to upset over Creighton

On Friday night, the Nebraska men’s basketball team upset the Creighton Bluejays in Omaha by a score of 74-63. This is only the second win over the Bluejays in the Fred Hoiberg era. Nebraska now trails Creighton in the all-time series 30-28.

Juwan Gary and Brice Williams led the Huskers with 16 points each while Pop Isaacs led the Bluejays with 25 points. The Husker’s defense was even more impressive, holding Creighton to a season-low 32.7 percent from the field on 17-52 shooting.

The Cornhuskers improve to 4-1 on the season and will return home to face South Dakota on Wednesday night. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. CT and can be seen on Big Ten Network.
