Brooklyn Nets Shake Up Roster: Welcoming Killian Hayes While Parting Ways with Bojan Bogdanović

Shams Charania recently revealed that Bojan Bogdanović is set to undergo surgery on his foot that will end his season. In his latest update, he indicated that the Brooklyn Nets plan to waive him.

The franchise aims to create two open roster spots in order to sign Killian Hayes, the former No. 7 overall pick in the NBA Draft, and to transition Tyrese Martin to a standard NBA contract, according to Charania.

Reports suggest that the Nets will ink Hayes to a 10-day deal after his impressive performance with the Long Island Nets in the G League, where he averaged 21 points and 8.3 assists.

Bogdanović has played a total of 719 games in the NBA, where he has averaged 15.6 points and 3.6 rebounds. However, his last appearance occurred back in April of the previous year while he was with the New York Knicks.

On the other hand, Hayes, a 23-year-old guard from France, entered the league in 2020 after being drafted by the Pistons. Over his four seasons, he has made 210 regular-season appearances, accumulating averages of 8.1 points and 5.2 assists.
