European Stars Shine Bright: Pöltl, Zubac, and Gobert Each Post Impressive Double-Doubles in NBA Action

Numerous European athletes showcased their skills in the NBA last night, with several producing impressive performances.

Jakob Pöltl played exceptionally well, contributing 21 points and securing 14 rebounds in the Toronto Raptors’ 113-104 triumph over the New Orleans Pelicans.

Under the guidance of Darko Rajaković, the Raptors are on a remarkable run, having won four consecutive games and six out of their last seven.

Ivica Zubac also shone brightly, scoring 25 points and collecting 16 rebounds, despite the LA Clippers narrowly falling 111-109 to the Phoenix Suns.

Rudy Gobert achieved a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds, helping the Minnesota Timberwolves secure a 100-92 win over the Atlanta Hawks.

For the Hawks, Zaccharie Risacher added 11 points and seven rebounds, while Clint Capela recorded a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds. Vít Krejčí contributed four points, and Bogdan Bogdanović was sidelined for the game.

The New York Knicks dominated the Memphis Grizzlies 143-106, with OG Anunoby leading the charge with 15 points. Santi Aldama managed 10 points for the Grizzlies in the defeat.

In a tight contest, Vasilije Micić notched 11 points and dished out four assists for the Charlotte Hornets, who fell 112-107 to the Los Angeles Lakers. Fellow Serbian Tristan Vukčević scored 10 points in the Washington Wizards’ 130-108 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

Bilal Coulibaly topped the Wizards’ scoring with 16 points, while Jonas Valančiūnas wrapped up with nine points and five rebounds. Alex Sarr contributed a modest four points.
