Nikola Jokic scored 40 points, leading the Denver Nuggets to a commanding 146-117 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers at Ball Arena on Monday.
The Serbian sensation shot 15 for 22 from the floor, including an incredible three-pointer from the corner that looked nearly impossible midway through the first quarter.
“No, I don’t practice that, my friend,” he stated during the post-game press conference, downplaying the significance of the shot and instead highlighting the importance of team play.
