Nikola Jokic delivered yet another remarkable performance, achieving his fifth consecutive triple-double and setting a league-leading total of 20 for the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season.
With 12 successful shots out of 19 attempts, Jokic amassed 35 points, alongside 22 rebounds and 17 assists, as the Denver Nuggets triumphed over the Sacramento Kings, 132-123, at Ball Arena.
Reflecting on Thursday’s match, he noted, “I think we controlled the game for the most part. It was only in the fourth quarter that we sort of lost our groove,” nearly squandering a 25-point lead.
Playing for 37 minutes, as the Kings attempted a brief comeback in the final quarter, the Serbian star also recorded two blocks and a steal.
“I didn’t aim to dominate; I was simply playing the game,” he said about his impressive triple-double. “I believe I was just approaching the game the right way.”

When reflecting on his long-range shot from beyond halfcourt at the close of the third quarter, he remarked, “I knew it was going in.”
On the bench for the Nuggets was Croatian Dario Saric, while Slovenian Vlatko Cancar remained sidelined due to left knee surgery.
On the opposing side, Lithuanian Domantas Sabonis was close to a triple-double, contributing 23 points, 19 rebounds, and eight assists, while Ukrainian Alex Len did not see any playing time.
Despite the absence of Slovenian star Luka Doncic (left calf strain), the Dallas Mavericks managed a 121-115 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder at Paycom Center. The Thunder were missing French Ousmane Dieng, German Isaiah Hartenstein (left soleus strain), Belgian Ajay Mitchell (right great toe surgery), and Serbian Nikola Topic (left knee surgery). For the Mavs, German Maxi Kleber was the sole active European player, finishing with three points, four assists, and three rebounds.
