The Detroit Pistons are set to acquire point guard Dennis Schroder from the Utah Jazz, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The German national team captain began the current season with the Brooklyn Nets, was traded to the Golden State Warriors in December, and most recently found himself with the Jazz on Wednesday, as part of the trade that sent Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat to the Warriors.
This season, Schroder has put up averages of 14.4 points, 5.5 assists, and 2.6 rebounds over 26.2 minutes in 47 games. Over the course of 12 seasons in the NBA, he has maintained averages of 14.0 points, 4.9 assists, and 2.9 rebounds.
