French sensation Victor Wembanyama and Turkish center Alperen Sengun will be joining Serbian superstar Nikola Jokic and Greek star Giannis Antetokounmpo at the forthcoming All-Star game.
This marks the first time both Wembanyama and Sengun will participate in the All-Star festivities.
According to the official announcement, seven players from each conference have been selected as All-Star reserves: consisting of two guards, three forwards, and two players who can occupy any position. The NBA head coaches were responsible for choosing these reserves. The 14 selected reserves will join the 10 starters revealed last week to complete the All-Star roster.
Team General Managers for the All-Star Game, Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kenny Smith, will draft their teams on Thursday, Feb. 6 on TNT, as part of the newly introduced format for the All-Star game.
