“It means a lot. It just happened naturally. Everyone was open and making shots, which definitely made my job easier,” he commented on achieving his triple-double.
His French teammate Alex Sarr remained out due to a left ankle sprain, marking his fifth consecutive game missed. Serbian Tristan Vukcevic came off the bench, playing 18 minutes and adding 12 points, six rebounds, and one assist for the Wizards. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered an explosive performance for the Oklahoma City Thunder, scoring 50 points in a commanding 140-109 victory against the Phoenix Suns at Paycom Center. German Isaiah Hartenstein and French Ousmane Dieng chipped in with nine and five points, respectively.
Spanish player Santi Aldama scored six points as the Memphis Grizzlies dominated the Toronto Raptors, 138-107, at Scotiabank Arena. For the team coached by Serbian Darko Rajakovic, Austrian Jakob Poeltl (right hip pointer) was unavailable for play.
