It’s no secret that the Sacramento Kings consistently depend on Domantas Sabonis to perform, and his contributions are significant every time he steps on the court.
In their latest defeat against the New Orleans Pelicans, the Lithuanian center had an impressive outing, recording 22 points, 28 rebounds, and 5 assists despite the loss.
With this performance, he became just the third player in Sacramento’s history to achieve three games with 25 or more rebounds.
Sabonis has now accomplished this feat three times in his career with the Kings, tying him with Jack Coleman, Wayne Embry, and Sam Lacey for the third-most 25-rebound games in the franchise’s history.
The former player from Unicaja was not alone in showcasing a strong performance but still faced defeat—Lauri Markkanen scored 20 points for Utah in their loss to the Clippers, while Ivica Zubac (10 points, 8 rebounds) and Bogdan Bogdanovic enjoyed a successful outing.
Luka Garza (8 points, 8 rebounds) made a notable impact off the bench to help Minnesota secure a crucial victory against Oklahoma City, while Isaiah Hartenstein recorded a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds despite his team’s loss.
Additionally, Alperen Sengun also achieved a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds, yet the Houston Rockets fell short against the Golden State Warriors.
Final scores: Houston Rockets 98 – Golden State Warriors 105, New Orleans Pelicans 140 – Sacramento Kings 133, Dallas Mavericks 118 – Miami Heat 113, Minnesota Timberwolves 116 – Oklahoma City Thunder 101, Utah Jazz 116 – Los Angeles Clippers 120.
