This year’s All-Star Game introduces a new format that includes a mini-tournament with four competing teams. In addition to the players chosen by Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, and Barkley, a fourth team led by WNBA icon Candace Parker will join in, comprising the champions of the Castrol Rising Stars.
The tournament will consist of three games, featuring two semifinal contests and a final, with the victor being the first team to reach or exceed 40 points.
Players on the victorious squad will each earn $125,000, while the second place finishers will receive $50,000 each. Members of the teams eliminated in the semifinals will take home $25,000.
This exciting tournament is scheduled to occur on Sunday, February 16, at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
