The three-time Sixth Man of the Year takes pleasure in sharing his knowledge of the game, and he’s excited to introduce “Courtside Crawsover,” a new alternate game broadcast co-hosted with former MLB All-Star Dexter Fowler. This show will be available for streaming on NBA League Pass and the NBA app, commencing on February 27 with a match between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Minnesota Timberwolves (10:30 ET).
This matchup marks the inaugural event of three scheduled episodes for “Courtside Crawsover,” which promises to blend live game commentary with anecdotes, celebrity appearances, and audience engagement, as Crawford and Fowler explore the union of sports and pop culture.
Crawford, who has recently taken on the role of color analyst for NBA broadcasts and HooperVision, is eager to share his basketball knowledge and enthusiasm with fans via this innovative alternate broadcast format.
“We’re launching something entirely unique. This is an alt-cast unlike any other,” Crawford expressed. “We’re bringing something exciting to you… centered around culture, sports, engaging with your favorite celebrities and entertainers.”
Fowler adds a distinct viewpoint as a former World Series champion and 14-year MLB veteran, now sharing his analysis on MLB Network and Marquee Sports Network following his retirement in 2023.
“This is definitely not your typical basketball alt-cast,” Fowler stated. “We’ll be covering a wide array of topics as if we’re all hanging out in the living room together. And I promise this: we’re guaranteed to have a blast and share plenty of laughs.”
Additional episodes are set for March 21 and April 4, with specific matchups to be confirmed later.
