NEW YORK – Nic Claxton, the center for the Brooklyn Nets, has been handed a one-game suspension without pay for reaching his sixth Flagrant Foul point during the 2024-25 regular season, as announced today by Joe Dumars, the Executive Vice President and Head of Basketball Operations.
Entering Monday’s game with five Flagrant Foul points, Claxton committed a Flagrant Foul 1 with 9:24 left in the fourth quarter of the Nets’ 107-99 defeat to the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena. He will begin serving his suspension tomorrow when the Nets face the Oklahoma City Thunder at Barclays Center.

A player will automatically be suspended for one game when their total exceeds five points at any time during the season, including for each subsequent Flagrant Foul committed thereafter.
