In the Western Conference, Gilgeous-Alexander propelled the Thunder to an impressive 15-1 record, which is the best in the NBA, alongside a flawless 7-0 record on the road. He topped the league in scoring for March, averaging 34.7 points per game, alongside 7.4 assists, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.14 steals.

Additionally, White secured a personal-high 11 rebounds while contributing 25 points in his first double-double of the season on March 29.

Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors and Dyson Daniels of the Atlanta Hawks have been honored as the Kia NBA Defensive Players of the Month for March.

In the Western Conference, Green averaged 1.9 steals—ranking third in the West—helping the Warriors lead the league in steals for the month. His defensive efforts contributed to the Warriors attaining the fourth-best defensive rating in the NBA, with a score of 109.7.

In the Eastern Conference, Daniels excelled with a league-high 46 steals throughout March, averaging 3.3 steals, 5.4 deflections, and 3.1 forced turnovers per game. He accomplished his 200th steal of the season, making him the youngest player (22 years and six days old) to achieve 200 steals in a single season since at least the 1973-74 season. A prior winner of this award in October/November, Daniels is now one of only two players to receive multiple Defensive Player of the Month honors.

San Antonio Spurs’ Stephon Castle and Atlanta Hawks’ Zaccharie Risacher have been acknowledged as the Kia NBA Rookies of the Month for March.

Castle led all rookies with an average of 19.5 points, alongside 4.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists in March. With this accolade, he joins the ranks of Spurs legends like David Robinson, Tim Duncan, and Victor Wembanyama as one of the few players in franchise history to garner the award twice in a single season.

Daigneault claimed his third career award, and second in succession, after guiding the Thunder to a stellar 15-1 record— the highest in the league for March— achieving the most wins in a month in Thunder history. Under his leadership, the Thunder averaged 126 points per game (ranking first in the league) with a shooting accuracy of 50.5% (second in NBA), along with a three-point shooting percentage of 42.6% (first in NBA). Daigneault’s coaching secured Oklahoma City the Northwest Division title and the number one playoff seed in the Western Conference for the upcoming postseason.

Coach Mazzulla guided the Celtics to the second-best record in the league (14-1) and the top record in the Eastern Conference during March. The Celtics achieved the highest net rating in the East (11.6) and made franchise history with their recent six-game winning streak on the road, marking the first time they’ve accomplished such a feat. Defensively, Boston restricted opponents to an average of 107.7 points per game (second in the East) while allowing a shooting percentage of 45.2% (the best in the East).
