Though James Harden has moved on from the Houston Rockets, fresh talents have risen, guiding the franchise back to the playoffs.
In a dominating performance against the Utah Jazz, the Rockets triumphed 143-105, with Alperen Sengun almost achieving a triple-double. Sengun finished the game with 15 points, 14 rebounds, and nine assists in just 29 minutes of play, falling one assist short of the milestone.
In other matches, the Cleveland Cavaliers secured a 124-105 victory over the New York Knicks, even with OG Anunoby contributing 23 points, six rebounds, and six assists. The Charlotte Hornets, however, were defeated by the Indiana Pacers on the road, 119-105, with Jusuf Nurkic scoring 13 points, Moussa Diabate adding eight, and Tidjane Salaun chipping in with seven.

The Dallas Mavericks narrowly defeated the Atlanta Hawks 120-118, with Anthony Davis sinking a game-winning shot. Vit Krejci scored 11 points, while Zaccharie Risacher added nine for the Hawks.

The Denver Nuggets fell to the San Antonio Spurs 113-106, with superstar Nikola Jokic absent. Sandro Mamukelashvili shone for the Spurs, posting a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds.
The Oklahoma City Thunder claimed another victory, beating the Detroit Pistons 119-103 at home. Isaiah Hartenstein contributed five points, eight rebounds, and six assists, while Dennis Schroder led the Pistons with 15 points and seven assists.
