Headline: Dario Saric Weighs Future Amid European Rumors, Yet Eyes Return to Nuggets for 2025-26

Dario Saric is reportedly drawing interest from several teams, including Real Madrid, Panathinaikos Athens, Fenerbahçe Beko, and Dubai BC, as the offseason approaches. He is faced with the choice of whether to continue with the Denver Nuggets, which may postpone his return to European basketball.

According to the Denver Post, Saric “currently intends” to utilize the $5.4 million player option in his contract with the Nuggets, indicating he plans to remain with the team through at least the 2025-26 season.

“I haven’t signed with anyone,” Saric shared with the Post. “Of course, I still have my contract with Denver waiting at the end of this season, along with the option for next year. My family and I have yet to make a decision. I’m still focused on this season, and after it concludes, we’ll evaluate what the best choice is for me. … I truly don’t even know what the best option is for me at this point.”

So far in the 2024-25 season, the 30-year-old Croatian forward has participated in just 16 games, recording averages of 3.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists over 13.1 minutes. This marks his eighth season in the NBA.

Saric last competed in the EuroLeague during the 2015-16 season with Anadolu Efes prior to embarking on his professional journey in the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers.
