Bucks Hold onto Hope: Lillards Potential Early Playoff Return Gains Momentum

There remains optimism for the Bucks regarding the potential return of Damian Lillard to the court sooner rather than later.

Although the star guard is not anticipated to participate in Game 1 of the playoffs next week, Milwaukee has announced that he has experienced “significant improvement.”

While a specific timeline for his return is still undetermined, it appears that he might make it back to play before the season concludes.

According to the Bucks: “Damian Lillard has shown considerable improvement regarding the deep vein thrombosis in his right calf. He will progressively increase his on-court basketball activities.

“Recent scans show notable progress in his injury, allowing him to safely advance with more basketball activities,” stated Bucks General Manager Jon Horst. “The health of Damian remains our top priority. We have adhered to rigorous protocols and will maintain this approach. We are encouraged by the positive developments in Damian’s recovery.”

The team will continue to share updates as they become available.
