Pacers Triumph Over Knicks to Reach NBA Finals for First Time in 25 Years, Gear Up for Showdown with Thunder

The Indiana Pacers have claimed the title of Eastern Conference champions after a decisive 125–108 victory over the New York Knicks in Game 6, winning the series 4–2 and securing a spot in the NBA Finals.

This marks only the second time in the franchise’s history that the Pacers will compete in the Finals, where they will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder for the championship.

Pascal Siakam and Tyrese Haliburton were instrumental in delivering the long-awaited celebration for Indiana fans, who had been anticipating this moment for 25 years. Siakam notched 31 points, while Haliburton chipped in with 21 points, including 11 in a crucial fourth quarter that propelled the Pacers to triumph.

“Pascal and Tyrese carried us on their shoulders and ensured we wouldn’t fall short. However, our journey is only beginning,” stated coach Rick Carlisle.

Siakam received the Larry Bird Trophy, awarded to the MVP of the Eastern Conference Finals. Haliburton also recorded a notable 13 assists, and Obi Toppin contributed 18 points and six rebounds against his former team.

For the Knicks, OG Anunoby led the scoring with 24 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 points and secured 14 rebounds, and Jalen Brunson finished with 19 points.
