Devin Booker Poised for $150 Million Extension, Set to Lead New Era for Suns

According to Marc Stein, Devin Booker, the standout guard for the Phoenix Suns, is anticipated to sign a two-year contract extension worth $150 million with the team. The 28-year-old will be eligible to finalize the deal starting July 6.

During the 2024-25 season, which marks his tenth year with the franchise, Booker achieved an average of 25.6 points per game, hitting a career-high of 7.1 assists alongside 4.1 rebounds. In February, he became the franchise’s all-time leading scorer.

Recently, it was reported that Booker played a significant role in the Suns’ search for a new head coach, influencing the decision to hire Jordan Ott from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Suns are anticipated to make significant changes to their roster, with the possible departures of Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal. As a result, Booker is expected to emerge as the foundational player for the revamped Phoenix team.
