Dario Šarić has opted to activate his player option, ensuring his continuation with the Denver Nuggets for another season, as announced by Misko Raznatovic.
The Croatian forward had until June 29 to make his decision regarding his future with the Nuggets, and it appears he has opted to remain with the franchise for the 2025/26 season.
Šarić is expected to make $5.4 million next year, indicating that he may be delaying any potential move back to Europe for the time being.
He made his NBA debut in 2016 after signing with the Philadelphia 76ers. Throughout his career, he has also played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Golden State Warriors before joining the Nuggets last summer.
During his time in Denver, Šarić struggled to secure a more significant role in the team’s lineup, participating in only 16 regular-season games and averaging 3.5 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.
