Oklahoma City Gears Up for Historic NBA Championship Parade This Tuesday!

Oklahoma City is gearing up to commemorate the inaugural NBA championship for the city.

The Thunder have scheduled a parade to take place in downtown OKC on June 24 at 11:30 a.m. ET, as announced by the team. The parade is expected to last around an hour and a half and will be broadcasted on NBA TV and the NBA App. Below is the course that the parade will follow through the city.

Prior to the parade, the team will convene at Paycom Center for a private ceremony at 10 a.m. ET. This event will not be open to the public, but it will feature speeches from players and a presentation of the Larry O’Brien Trophy. Fans can view the ceremony via YouTube and on local television channels.

After the parade concludes, a closing program will take place on the stage at Scissortail Park, which will also be aired on television.
