According to Keith Smith, the Washington Wizards have issued a two-way qualifying offer to Serbian player Tristan Vukčević, turning him into a restricted free agent as the free agency window approaches on July 1.
This offer grants the Wizards the option to match any contract Vukčević may receive from other franchises.
The 21-year-old forward/center, who was picked 42nd overall in the 2023 NBA Draft, demonstrated potential offensive skills during his limited playing time last season and is considered a long-term developmental asset for the Wizards.
During the 2024–25 season, Vukčević recorded averages of 9.4 points and 3.7 rebounds over 35 games with Washington.
