Another European talent is set to switch teams during the NBA free agency, as reports indicate that Sandro Mamukelashvili will be heading to the Toronto Raptors.
As per Shams Charania of ESPN, the 24-year-old forward from Georgia has agreed to a two-year contract worth $5.5 million, which includes an option for the second year.
Mamukelashvili has been part of the San Antonio Spurs since 2023, where he averaged 6.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game in the recent 2024-25 season alongside Victor Wembanyama.
Before joining the Spurs, he played for the Milwaukee Bucks, who drafted him 54th overall in the 2021 NBA Draft after a successful four-year stint at Seton Hall with the Pirates.
If all goes as anticipated, Mamukelashvili is also poised to represent Georgia in the upcoming FIBA EuroBasket 2025, competing in the Group Phase in Cyprus.
Additionally, in the 2024 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament held in Latvia, he was a standout performer for Georgia, averaging 20.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
