Bucks Shake Up Roster Again: Vasilije Micic Joins Milwaukee in Trade with Hornets

The Milwaukee Bucks are sending Pat Connaughton along with two future second-round draft picks (2031, 2032) to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for Vasilije Micic, according to Shams Charania.

As the Bucks work on reshaping their lineup, Micic, who was acquired by the Hornets from the Suns on draft night, is set to make another move.

Milwaukee has already made headlines by adding Myles Turner while parting ways with Damian Lillard and allowing Brook Lopez to sign with the Clippers.

Charania reports that the Bucks have reached agreements on two-year contracts with free agent center Jericho Sims and forward Gary Harris, and they have also re-signed Bobby Portis.

It remains uncertain what the future holds for Micic; however, the Serbian guard, who is still highly sought after in Europe, has a personal connection with Giannis Antetokounmpo and his family.

This trade results in a modest savings of $1.3 million for the Bucks, but if they are negotiating a buyout of Micic’s $8.1 million contract, they stand to gain even more flexibility.
