The group lineup for the Emirates NBA Cup 2025 has been established.
All 30 NBA franchises have been randomly allocated into groups of five, organized by their conference rankings based on their win-loss records from the 2024-25 regular season. Starting on October 31, and running until November 28, each team will partake in four Group Play matches during selected “Cup Nights.” This includes one match against every other team in their respective group, with two contests hosted on their home turf and two taking place away.
A total of eight teams will progress to the Knockout Rounds: the top team from each of the six groups based on their Group Play performance and one “wild card” entrant from each conference. The wild card will be the second-place team in the group with the best Group Play record from each conference.
