The Milwaukee Bucks have reached an agreement to buy out guard Vasilije Micić, as reported by Michael Scotto of Hoopshype.
This transaction paves the way for Micić to potentially make a return to Europe, where he is still considered a valuable asset.
Additionally, this decision enables Milwaukee to enhance their salary cap flexibility, provided that Micić did not receive the entirety of his guaranteed $8.1 million salary for the 2025-26 season.
Fenerbahçe has emerged as the leading candidate to sign Micić in Europe; however, following discussions in Istanbul a month ago, the exact outcome of his future remains uncertain.
With limited options in the free agent market, the two-time EuroLeague champion Micić is still recognized as one of the premier players available in European free agency. His desire to return to Europe has been clearly articulated since February, with a salary expectation of 5 million euros per season.
