LAS VEGAS – Rayan Rupert led the Portland Trail Blazers to a commanding 106-73 victory over the Golden State Warriors during the NBA 2K26 Summer League on Friday at the Thomas and Mack Center.

The Trail Blazers surged ahead with a 34-13 advantage after the first quarter, fueled by Rupert’s impressive start, which included 11 points on 2-of-3 shooting from the field, 1-of-1 from three-point range, and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free-throw line. Golden State responded by opening the second quarter with a 13-5 run, trimming the deficit to 13 points at halftime. However, the Blazers regained control in the third frame, outscoring the Warriors 27-12, which gave them a 28-point lead heading into the final quarter—a comfortable margin for them to maintain.

Rupert continued to shine throughout the game, finishing with a shooting line of 5-for-8 from the field, including 2-for-3 from beyond the arc, and an impeccable 11-for-11 from the charity stripe. He also contributed nine rebounds, four assists, and two steals for an outstanding overall performance. Caleb Love added 18 points for the Trail Blazers, while James Bouknight recorded a well-rounded game with 11 points, nine rebounds, four assists, a steal, and two blocks.

On the flip side, the Warriors had three players reach double digits in scoring, with Will Richard and Jackson Rowe each netting 12 points, while Taran Armstrong added 10.

The Warriors struggled offensively, shooting only 32.9% from the floor, including a dismal 8-for-36 (22.2%) from three-point territory. They also faced challenges at the free-throw line, converting just 65.2% of their attempts. In contrast, the Trail Blazers displayed better shooting efficiency at 48.6% from the field and successfully made 22 out of 25 free throw attempts.
