Bradley Beal is set to join the Los Angeles Clippers, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania. The experienced guard has reached a buyout agreement with the Phoenix Suns and will transition to his new team once he clears the waiver process.
At 32 years old, Beal has signed a two-year contract worth $11 million, which includes a player option for the 2026-27 season. The Clippers will mark Beal’s third franchise, following his stints with the Washington Wizards and the Phoenix Suns.
Beal was obtained by the Suns in the 2023 trade involving Chris Paul, as the team aimed to form a “Big Three” alongside Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. However, the plan fell short when Phoenix was swept in the 2024 playoffs and subsequently finished 11th in the Western Conference the following season, missing the Play-In tournament entirely.
In the 2024-25 season, Beal posted averages of 17.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists.
