Although Panathinaikos showed interest, the Denver Nuggets have officially confirmed Jonas Valančiūnas as their latest addition to the roster.
Coach David Adelman recently shared his enthusiasm regarding the Lithuanian center’s arrival, and now the Nuggets’ Executive Vice President, Ben Tenzer, has weighed in on the matter, affirming Valančiūnas’ dedication to the team.
“When we discussed his contract, the conversations were nothing but positive, and he is eager to be part of the Denver Nuggets,” Tenzer stated, as reported by Brendan Vogt and Katy Winge.
Tenzer also mentioned that there are “no worries” about Valančiūnas not participating for the Nuggets.
As he prepares to don the Nuggets’ colors in the upcoming 2025–26 season, Valančiūnas is currently focused on guiding Lithuania in the EuroBasket 2025 tournament.
