The championship match of the NBA 2K26 Summer League is set, as both Sacramento and Charlotte breezed through their semifinals, setting the stage for one last showdown in Las Vegas.
Highlighted below are the standout players from Saturday’s second-to-last game:
Isaac Jones chose the perfect moment to deliver his best performance of the summer, significantly surpassing his previous scoring average in Las Vegas. He scored an impressive 36 points on an extraordinary 13-for-17 shooting, leading the undefeated Kings to the championship match on Sunday.
Not even first-round prospects Devin Carter and Nique Clifford could overshadow Jones, who tallied nine points in the final 2:55, helping to fend off a fierce rally from Toronto that narrowed Sacramento’s once-dominant 22-point lead to just one.

The two borderline prospects delivered solid all-around performances in their final opportunity this summer to shine. Jones topped all players with 25 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block. Watkins nearly matched him, contributing 23 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and five steals.
Watkins’ prior performance, where he recorded eight steals, culminated in an average of 3.8 steals over his five games in Las Vegas. Conversely, Jones capitalized on his 36 minutes of play after being limited to minimal minutes leading up to Saturday’s game.
Sims primarily focused on scoring against Oklahoma City, and given his impressive efficiency, such a concentrated approach makes sense. As a free agent still in search of a permanent position, he needed just 25 minutes and 14 shots to accumulate a game-high 25 points.
This scoring spree, including four three-pointers, dominated the Thunder to the extent that the benches were cleared midway through the third quarter. While this may have limited Sims’ scoring potential, it also provided him a chance to catch the attention of scouts in Sunday’s championship game.
Has Jones-Garcia done enough to secure a contract? If he doesn’t, he can take comfort in presenting a compelling case for himself in Las Vegas, finishing among the Summer League’s top scorers with an impressive average of 21.6 points per game.
The Dominican shooter concluded his summer with 23 points and four three-pointers in a game where San Antonio triumphed over Detroit. Coupled with his strong performance last season with Mexico City in the G League, he has seemingly piqued the interest of several European clubs.
