Following a split season between the G-League and a handful of NBA outings with the Brooklyn Nets in 2024–2025, 24-year-old guard Killian Hayes is reportedly targeting a spot in an NBA preseason camp this summer, as reported by BeBasket.
Hayes has drawn interest from several European teams, most notably ASVEL, which allegedly extended a lucrative offer. Nonetheless, the French-American player opted to decline, choosing instead to concentrate on pursuing his ambitions within the NBA rather than returning to Europe.
Other prominent EuroLeague clubs, including Real Madrid and Anadolu Efes, have also expressed interest in Hayes, but no formal offers have been made. For the time being, Hayes seems committed to keeping his focus on the NBA.
Having begun his professional career with Cholet and Ratiopharm Ulm, he was selected by the Detroit Pistons as the seventh overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.
After spending four years with the Pistons, he played primarily in the G League last season while also making six appearances in the NBA regular season with the Brooklyn Nets, where he averaged nine points and 5.2 assists per game.
