After two seasons away from the NBA, John Wall has announced his retirement, closing the chapter on a 13-year professional journey.
“I’ve been pursuing the game since I could hardly walk […] I poured everything I had into this sport,” he remarked.
Wall dedicated a decade to the Washington Wizards before having short stints with the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Clippers.

“Each jersey I’ve donned represented more than just victories and statistics. It was about embodying something greater,” he reflected in his retirement video.
Throughout his NBA tenure, he maintained averages of 18.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 8.9 assists per game.
While Wall has not represented Team USA in FIBA competitions, he did participate in the training camp prior to the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
